What customers say?

“ Very authentic Vietnamese foods with very good services. This restaurant has some private dinning rooms with air conditioning. Very clean and cozy. Highly recommended ”

“ Food and services were good. Their nuoc cham was a bit on the bland side, but overall, it was a good meal. The portion was also generous. The menu offers a variety of options. Would try again if in the area. They also have 2 musicians performing on a Saturday evening. Note: the odors of nuoc cham (fish sauce) in the room might deter some Western customers who are sensitive to smell. ”

“ Food was good for the flavor, however, there should have been more of an option for the main courses. Mostly snacks to eat with drinks. The price is reasonable and nice atmosphere with nice music and beautiful decorations with colorful lanterns. ”

- Pasan Sensouk -

“ I stopped by Day2Night Café for lunch and decided to try their Cơm Tấm. The dish was delightful—the grilled pork was tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with the broken rice. The presentation was neat, and the portion size was just right for a midday meal. The café's ambiance was relaxed, with a comfortable seating arrangement that made it easy to unwind. The staff were attentive and ensured I had everything I needed. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch experience, and I would recommend Day2Night Café to anyone looking for a good Vietnamese meal in Vientiane. ”

“ Had a delicious meal there. The atmosphere is also amazing beautiful lanterns everywhere and they had some singers in the courtyard. A beautiful peaceful area on a noisy street. Staff were attentive and friendly. ”

“ When I visited in the evening, the indoor atmosphere, decorated with pretty lanterns, was nice. The live music is good too... what I liked the most was that the volume was low. It is a place where you can have a quiet conversation. At a Vietnamese restaurant, the staff wears Vietnamese clothes and serves. When you order food, it tends to come out faster than at a Laotian restaurant. Fried foods (nuggets, fries) are not crispy and don't taste very good because they have too much oil. The drink is unique and relatively delicious. When you order beer by bottle, they open the lid in advance and bring it. It is recommended to order beer after the food is served, unless you drink alcohol without snacks before it arrives. Of course, it seems to apply not only to this restaurant but to the entire Laos... Anyway, if you want to have a drink with a nice atmosphere, it's worth going. ”

“ I was impressed by the luxurious interior. Each dish is prepared so well—it actually tastes better than the authentic food in Vietnam. If you're looking for the best Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood, this is it. ”

- Wendy Oui -

“ Came to this Vietnamese restaurant for Pho but they ra n out or did not have it so naturally second choice would be fried crab with sugar cane with beer Lao. Recommended. Right in the heart of Vientiane near night market. It’s near major hotels, walking within minutes. Parking spot is hard to find. Food presentation is as delicious as it looks. I did enjoy it. ”
